Hot Rolled Square Tubes is made from flat rolled basic oxygen steel, which is formed into a tubular shape and then welded by the electric resistance process. In the welding process there is no loss of properties, and no irregularity that may be observed in the structure. It is available in a wide range of diameters but is confined to relatively thin walls. This tube has heavier walls than .065” which is produced from hot rolled. It is also available for structural applications. Structural tubing is an efficient structural member with many inherent advantages, including strength and lightness.
